Desiree Craig, FNP-BC

Desiree embarked on her medical journey after graduating from Murray State University in 2016 as a Registered Nurse. She spent three years working in the trauma unit at a local hospital. Feeling a desire to do more in life, she began taking classes for her master's at Indiana Wesleyan University. After two and a half years, she graduated in 2021 as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. During the first year, she opened a new urgent care as its main provider. After some time, she decided to transition to geriatrics and worked in nursing homes for two years. Experiencing her own need for healthier life choices, Desiree sought to promote physical and mental health for others. She has since made the transition to Dr. Malek's office and is enthusiastic about helping people reach their goals and lead long and healthy lives.
